Recently, the 2021 "Kapok China Design Award Winners" were grandly announced. Vitarte, a domestically developed home elevator brand, stood out from nearly a thousand entries and won the "Kapok China Design Award·2021 Product Design Award", standing on the highest platform for Chinese products to showcase innovative design.
About the Kapok Prize
The "Kapok China Design Award", as the origin project of Guangzhou Design Week, was launched in 2006 under the leadership of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government. It is one of the most influential design awards in China.
In 2021, the "Kapok China Design Award" will further focus on "improving the quality of human living" and take "design-driven industrial upgrading" as the main body.
Since 2010, with the upgrading of housing consumption, China has quietly begun to have a trend of home elevators. But after only nearly 10 years of development, people have begun to have an increasingly obvious demand for the appearance design of this type of "home machinery". However, having an excellent appearance design is only the first step in product design. After that, it is necessary to practice the concept of "improving the quality of human life" upheld by the 2021 "Kapok Award".
Sun Jinlong, General Manager of Vitarte Elevator: As an emerging home elevator brand, we value more the efforts made to improve people's quality of life and taste, and pay more attention to digging deep into people's needs for quality of life, rather than just improving functionality.
Vitarte's award is inseparable from its subversive design. It integrates beauty and functionality into elevator design, boldly embraces openness and innovation, and brings a new trend of villa elevator design to the industry.
The top of the C-shaped platform is made of a combination of Alcantara and micro optical fiber, and the starry sky can be customized with personalized constellation patterns, opening up a dreamy elevator experience for every journey.
The platform handrail has been precisely calculated based on ergonomics, with a distance of 1.033m from the ground and an arc accurate to 135.8°, fully meeting the needs of different groups of people for leaning, grabbing, etc.
The curved corner design of the ladder body not only avoids collisions with edges, but also highlights the unique beauty of the structure and lines.
Vitarte adheres to the design and manufacturing concepts of technology, fashion and safety, integrates the cross-era technology of the Internet of Things, the independently developed Tai Chi system, private customized ports, and interconnection with smart homes, incorporating a visual and material language that combines rigidity and flexibility into the elevator ride.
In line with the original intention of "people-oriented, intelligent innovation", Vitarte will live up to the award, focus the design on human habitation, surpass itself step by step, and bring quality life into every home.
